Starting as simply a shared vision between President & CEO, Lisa Merchant and Advisory Board Member, Douglas Harrell in 1999, each enjoyed tremendous success in their individual fields, rising to senior executive roles in their respective organizations but wanting to make a greater impact.  Together, they are a powerhouse of business savvy, financial acumen, leadership and vision.  Over their careers they each had the privilege of working with very talented executives and those relationships, formed over time, have become the basis for the senior executive team for AMD and inspiration for the current structure of the organization.

Lisa Merchant, President & CEO.  Lisa is accountable for the overall vision and day to day management of AMD, focusing on strategic planning, execution, sales and the overall engagement of the team.  Lisa’s professional career consists of over 25 years combined experience in business development and consulting, human capital management, leadership development, organizational communications, compliance, change management and project management.  She has worked for a variety of corporate and nonprofit organizations in various leadership capacities. Before starting AMD, Ms. Merchant served as Vice President of Human Capital and Executive Development for UnitedHealth Group (UHG) Company. Prior to joining UHG, Lisa was the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources for CNA Insurance Company.  Lisa holds her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Interpersonal Communications and Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

Marla Brady-Sr VP Compliance and Reporting 2Marla Brady, Senior Vice President, Compliance and Reporting.  In her role, Marla is accountable for the oversight of the Compliance and audit functions of AMD.  She brings a wealth of experience and customer support to the role.  With over 25 years of experience in management, compliance, consulting and human resources, Marla V. Brady, has a deep commitment to building strong client relationships and providing excellent customer service.  She has spent numerous years coaching, teaching and training people at all socio-economic and professional levels.  Her analytical and problem resolution skills as well as attention to details enable her to identify challenges and seek the best solutions and recommendations for her clients.  Marla has worked in or consulted with clients in corporate, government, education, not-for-profit and small business organizations. As an adjunct professor, she has taught classes on leadership, management and human resource management.  Marla has an MBA in Management from Loyola University, Chicago and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.

DStewart color (1)Damon Stewart, PMP, Vice President, Program and Project Management.  Damon is accountable for the structure and processes related to the Program and Project Management services of AMD.  His client management expertise and IT background are vital to the Project Management team.  Damon has over thirty years of Information Systems development experience in all phases of systems and process development life cycle management. As a Certified Project Management Professional with over 15 years of expertise in project management, he has successfully managed many global IT, ERP, CTMS systems development, regulatory validation and implementation projects for industry leading companies.  Damon has Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Computer Information Systems from Missouri State University.  He is also a member of the Project Management Institute and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).


Susette Lunceford - VP Training and DevelopmentSusette Lunceford, PHR, Director of Training.  Susette is accountable for supporting her clients by creating and facilitating leadership and development training and the management of training consultants.  Susette has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources.  She received her BS in Business Administration from Andrews University, her MBA from University of Illinois and MA in Training & Development from Roosevelt University.  Mrs. Lunceford holds a certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Professional from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP).


William Cook - IT Systems DirectorWilliam Cook, Director, IT Systems.  William joined the AMD team in 2010 as Director of IT Systems where he is accountable for the development of systems tools and client based software applications.  William has over 25 years of information technology experience.  He began his career as a communications-computer systems officer in the United States Air Force.  He has participated in numerous information technology based committees for education and the development of Service Delivery.  William holds a bachelor’s degree in MIS, multiple Information Technology Infrastructure Library certifications, and is a HDI certified Service Center Director.


Johnny Rogers- Web MasterJohnny Rogers, Web Master.  Johnny ensures that the AMD web site and social media footprint reflect the excellence and vision of the organization.  Johnny works together with the Director of IT Systems to provide web based tools for clients and staff alike.  Johnny has 20+ years of experience in providing business and technology solutions. He has served as a freelance Web Consultant, Internet Marketer and PC consultant for 10+ years.  Johnny is also the owner/operator of the following websites: (Digital Marketing) and (DIY Websites).
